Bible Verses for someone who lost a loved one

Unfortunately at some point we will all experience the feeling of losing someone close to us. But though it may seem everything is lost there’s comforting words in the Bible to better help us cope with the passing of a loved one; Bible quotes to give us hope that this is not be the end.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

John 14:1-4
